PET BOTTLE – HDPE BOTTLE – PP BOTTLEPLASTIC BOTTLE FLAKE

By 2025, 100% of plastic packaging will need to be reusable, recyclable or compostable. The amount of plastic packaging applied and recycled will have to reach at least 25% in each region, while new products contain at least 25% recycled material.

INDUSTRIAL MILLS FOR PLASTIC GRINDING: PLASTIC RECYCLING MACHINES, PLASTIC RECYCLING MACHINES – PLASTIC SHREDDERS, PLASTIC GRANULATORS, PLASTIC SHREDDERS

For the processing of quantities of plastic deriving from post-industrial and post-consumer waste, there are machines that grind the waste until it is reduced into small granules, similar to virgin processing material, which are used to produce recycled objects for various uses.

The granulators for plastic materials of the Italian company Bruno Folcieri combine constructive strength with production flexibility, in fact they can process large quantities of plastic material, of different consistency and size, without limitation of type. They are all placed in medium or large plastic recycling plants in Italy and in the rest of the world, reachable.

Post-consumer plastic recyclers, post-industrial plastic recyclers and companies that recycle both types of waste or plastic waste, using this type of machinery.

The machinery used in the plastic bottle recycling process is an example of application of Bruno Folcieri granulators which can also be called shredders.

The use of rPET in bottle-to-bottle recycling has grown in response to the
demand coming from the producers themselves. This shows a greater emphasis on the importance of showing the quality of the rPET produced and how it was generated. The legislation, for its part, has made important progress: from January 2021 it has allowed the use of up to 100% recycled PET (rPET) in plastic bottles, thus exceeding the limit of 50% previously in force.

In addition to PET, Bruno Folcieri granulators are used for the recycling of all types of plastic waste, they are able to recover plastic scrap such as ABS, acetals, acrylics, engineered thermoplastics, mixed thermoplastics, HDPE, LDPE, nylon, PC , polyolefins, PP, PS, PVC, and others.
